LAHORE: The government of Punjab would step forward in cleaning the environment as the court banned polythene bags, asking the government to pass a legislation in six months to prohibit use, manufacturing, sale, marketing and import of polythene bags in a move to decrease waterborne diseases and environmental disasters.
